We arrived yesterday and wife had me unloading which involved climbing up on roof of van at midday, followed by daughter forcing me into a paddling pool build, today its off shopping to buy everything they forgot even though I had to leave my boat because they took up all the van/trailer space with Barbies, Trampolines and hair straitners. Glad I came for a rest. Maltapark site is good going to see a couple of cheap fishing boats later.
Van ran a treat all the way down very overloaded with a Morrocan style look to it, I will put it on Maltapark and ebay next week. Sitting overlooking the salt flats and the guys working on their boats while working online makes it all worth-while. Look ing forward to meeting up for a beer guys, and will stick some in fridge later. Jim n Bev

Hi and welcome.

We (some Expats ) are having a beach picnic just below the tower (il -Torri) on Tower Road in Sliema tomorrow ( holiday !) at 7 pm .

So anybody interested just come along with food and drinks and take the steps down next to the Torri-kiosk just next to Exiles. We will be sitting on the rocks next to the water from 7 pm onwards.

Cheers
Ricky

Julian - will you be emerging from the sea or getting there by more conventional means?

Tim

ricky

Yes,

swimming is possible. Even without a wetsuit!

Water temp is around 23 °. No freak waves today !

See you all there.
