OK I started teh new post so I didnt hijack the "Foreign Drivers license question" thread.

Do any of you have any experience with the malta driving schools like Cortis etc in order to get the Malta/eu licence ?...

I should get that out of the way.

I have no experience of any driving schools in Malta but I would imagine that you will need one that can show you how to drive while on the phone, trying to fasten your seat belt, pulling out in front of traffic, staying in any lane as long as it blocks that lane ( and its the wrong one once you get to an island) plus 43 point turns, double parking etc, etc.
There must be loads out there! :D

Oh and I nearly forgot: blow your horn at every junction.

HATE HORNS, I want a painball gun every time I hear one.

GRRRRRRRRRRR   yeah they are idiot drivers here, no denying that
