We are moving from UK  to KL in November.  Are there any cricket teams / training for my 9 and 10 year olds to join.  ?

That's an interesting question. You could contact the KL Cricket Association and try to get details of local cricket clubs that accept kids. Also, why not contact the various cricket clubs in KL to ask them about it too. But hopefully there are some locals or expats here who currently play cricket in KL and can give more direct advice. However, I believe that the Kelawar Cricket Club does have a junior team.

When my dad was a teacher in Singapore a very long time ago, apart from playing cricket for Singapore Cricket Club he also taught schoolboys to play. I myself attended  the Alf Gover Cricket School in Wandsworth, London when I played for my university and later club cricket in South Devon. Alf was a friend of my father and also a great cricketer.

So cricket is still quite popular in Malaysia, thanks to the large population of Indians and other south Asian citizens. I'd be interested to know how you get on with that.
