Hi everyone,

Similarly to the thread that gathered all EP applicants, I wanted to start this thread for all SP applications that was made OUTSIDE Singapore to also get a better grasp at the current situation. It can either be in forms of approvals/rejections/appeals.

If you're not a member, please create an account and chip in. It's for everyone's benefit, especially during thi COVID season.

If you applied for SP recently (from July up to present), please state the following.

1) Current status of your SP pass application (Pending/Approved/Rejected) - If rejected, please state the reason given by MOM if any)
2) Date of Application
3) Date of result (blank if still pending)
4) Industry

---

So, for my S Pass application, here are the latest results:

1. Rejected - I still don't have the reason stated by MOM as my agency hasn't given it to me yet, but I will update this next week once I get the reason.
2. August 17, 2020
3. August 28, 2020 (date of rejection)
4. IT

My employer will be reappealing for my case, but isn't sure if whether they should do it once phase 3 is currently happening in SG. They're still gauging if whether we should reappeal now or just right after CB (if you have any thoughts on this, do please let me know!)

Thanks and keep safe everyone!

1) Status: Rejected
2) Date of application: 09 Aug 2020
3) Date of result: 23 Aug 2020 REJECTED
"If your candidate is currently in Singapore, you may wish to submit an appeal for our consideration. Otherwise, you may wish to apply again when the additional safe distancing measures are lifted."
4) Industry: Animal healthcare

My employer said they will send an appeal when government move on to Phase 3 before we can try again. Starting 1 Sep 2020, SG will allow people to enter from Brunei and New Zealand without SHN and some countries with shortened SHN of 7 days. All people coming in will still need to be tested with COVID PCR Test.

I am in the same boat. Will they not try to reappeal even if you're outside SG? Thanks.
