I was wondering since tourist visas are temporarily suspended what are other types of visas to fly to the philippines on

Sorry to dissapoint you but, as part of COVID-19 restrictions Foreign Service Circular No. 36-2020 prohibits entry of many foreign Nationals to the Philippines. There is no estimate on when these restrictions will be lifted. For me, with a residence visa this is a disaster, because I earn my living overseas.

Only the following foreign nationals are allowed to enter the country:
1. Foreign spouses of Filipino nationals;
2 Foreign minor children, and foreign children with special needs regardless of age, of Filipino nationals; and
3. Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and of Filipino children with special needs regardless of age.
The exemption likewise covers former Filipinos, naturalized in other countries, who belong to the said categories.

So, unless you meet the criteria above you might not be able to visit the philippines very soon. Good luck with your travels.

Not many.     Business possibly, and government.    Also if you have a residency visa already.  Apart from that nothing until 2021

I live with my partner here in the Philippines. However, I we are not married,  for financial reasons linked to a litigeous and spiteful ex wife. I hold a resident's visa and I am a business man with interests worldwide. And yes, my company has some work in the Philippines.

It has been made very clear to me by BI and PRA that, if I leave the country, I will not be allowed re-entry until the restriction is lifted. I recently renewed my visa with no problem so there is no issue as long as I stay here.

Here are the updated guidelines just rec'vd yesterday fm PRA...Those who are allowed entry/re-entry into the philippines would be :
1) Foreign spouses of Filipino Nationals.
2) Foreign Minor children, and foreign children with special needs regardless of age, of Filipino Nationals and
3) Foreign parents of minor Filipino children and Filipino children with special needs regardless of age.

Hope this helps.
