Just did my Visa extension at SM Aura office.
I just late. My visa expired on 29 Aug 2020. My new visa valid until 29 Oct 2020.
Done in 1 hour. No issues. Very good.
Total bill:: peso 4140. Express lane.

Just renewed my tourist visa extension yesterday at the BI office in CDO. They offered me a 4 month extension. Total fees paid were 5,630.00 Php's. I was surprised to see the Express Lane Fee came to 2,500.00 Php's of the total fee of 5630.00. The reason i use the express lane is because i dont trust leaving my passport with BI for days using the non express lane. It's my understanding that part or all of the express lane fee goes towards supplementing BI employee salary's. Not much of a savings over the 2 month extension, like 30 pesos. But saves me 300 in taxi fees every 2 months and the hassle of going every 2 months verses every 4 months now.

My Express fee is peso 1000. I also don't want to go back to collect. Taxi fare is p350. Just pay what is. They only give me 2 months. I wanted 6 months. They told me can't. It's in the system. So don't be late, then can extend longer visa. I take it as income tax.
