Dear all,

Currently I'm working for company A as contractor and holding Spass. In July, I got an offer from company B with higher salary and subject to get an EP, the EP already approved but after much thought I decided to stay with company A (still no change on the salary) and Spass renewed successful  with current agent on 1st of September.

Now my company want to convert me to perm staff but when the HR submit pre-assessment using MOM online and it said something like my application mostly rejected hence strongly advise the HR not to proceed the application. (Noticed that went I used SAT and the outcome is Spass).

Anyone has similar experience? Should I worry?  and if the HR actually proceed with the application, is there any chance for me to go through ?

Thank you all

beppi

I assume the HR used the SAT tool. That tool can only check a limited subset of criteria for pass approval, but if t says you are not eligible for EP you basically have next to no chance.
Why don't you stay on S-Pass instead?

Thank you for your reply @beppi. With my current company, the salary no change hence its suppose to be Spass and I'm okay to stay with Spass but the SAT tool saying that with all the information submitted it may not eligible for EP and SPass. I did SAT myself with the same info and result is Spass. I'm concern that is it because of I rejected the previously EP from company B (in July) and then renewed my workpass with agent (approved and issued by Sept).

The SAT does not consider work pass application history and other such details of one’s individual situation. Therefore it can only give a rough guidance. But if the SAT says the input details are not eligible, you will almost certainly not get that work pass.

Thank you Beppi, when I use the SAT tool with the same information, it said im qualify for an S Pass.
