Saudi citizenship for my son.

Hi everyone. I am a non saudi. How can my son obtain a Saudi Citizenship? My husband to be is a saudi and we are still waiting for his marriage approval from the government. Do we need to get married first before our son gets the saudi citizenship? Hope to hear from you guys.

Good luck with that.
My sponsor is Saudi, his parents got a citizenship and his sister is non-Saudi.
That is awkward but it is what it is.
There is no guarantee.
Hope for the best.

My boss is indonesi his wife is Saudi, he has 4 son 2 boys got citizenship and daughter and son still indonesi this is the system of suadia

Assuming you get marriage permission, be aware of some facts.

Citizenship in Saudi and other GCC countries is passed down from the Father and not the mother. This means that if the Father is Saudi, the kids WILL get citizenship, no issue. But if the mother is Saudi and the father isn't, they won't.

And this will apply IF you get permission and the child is born AFTER that. For children born before permission, the citizenship is not automatic even if the Father is Saudi.

Hi. I have the same issue. Im married to a Saudi Citizen and recently i gave birth. Do you have any idea of any processes for the application of the KSA citizenship for my son? (We dont have marriage approval yet)

You need marriage approval for citizenship. This is as far as I know.
