Hello

Roger and me, Sandra, are very excited to move to Mauritius in 2021. We are people that love the nature and sport like hiking, windsurfing, kiting, snorkeling, golfing, runnning, yoga and so much more. We hope we can connect with other people that love to explore the nature and just love life.
We are retired and like to meet new people. We also bing our Australian Labradoodle with us.

Aloha, Sandra and Roger

I forgot to ask if someone could help us with the Kennel quarantine in Mauritius. I could not find the conntact to book a quarantine for our dog. It is very strange, most likely not only our Dog has to quarantine.....smile.png

Hi Martin, sounds good to me. Are u enjoying the move and I see Grand Port, did u buy or renting. We were bound for Europe but really being South African our investments divided by 17,5 euro leaves us with no money in Spain. Then we started to seek.
Thank you

Hi Roger and Sandra

We are from SA and we would be thrilled to be friends. We are very active and do everything you do and my wife little white Maltese Charlie will be joining us as well.
How far is your process. Any advice as we have just started

Kind regards
Emil, Sarah, and Charlie

Aloha Emil

Thank you for your replay. We are planing to fly out from Australia in March, but we just have to wait to find someone, that relocates our dog. It seems a bit tricky, with Covid and the limited airfare availability.

We start little and take just a few thing with us. A little container with our toys and once we know where we live, or better found a home, we will ship the rest of our belongings. That how we did in the past and it always worked out perfectly.
Although we never traveled with a dog, we got Duke only in July. The dog is the most difficult task in this uncertain Covid times.... But we will figure it out.

We will start with the Premium Visa, 12 months. While in Mauritius we will check which visa is more convinient for us, the retirement visa or the real estate investment visa.

We decided to go for the Alliance Health insurance.

How about you guys? What are your plans? How far are you? What are your plans?

Hope we stay in touch an meet in Mauritius soon smile.png

Cheers, Sandra, Roger and Duke

Hi guys,

We are also going to first ferl the water. We have a lovely home next to the sea on the West Cape of South Africa that we built for ourselves and we have everything there BUT the political situation in SA is becoming volatile.
We will bring Charlie over and we started to check the legal implications of everything.
If we can help with info we know some people there so feel free to ask.
Seems like the winds blow from the north south and east which leaves the west as a good option or noth east Grand Bay side.
We are planning a month long exploration trip there in March

Kindest regards
Sarah, Emil & Charlie pooch
