Public/night/weekend school teaching French in Gent area

Hi everyone,

I hope 2021 has been treating your well so far.

I would like some suggestions on French language learning. I am enquiring particularly on public school or night school or weekend school where they teach French for adults in Gent Area in evenings or weekends.

I have learned Dutch in Het Perspectief in Gent for one year. It was great learning experience. However I heard that in this school they teach French in Dutch, i.e., explaining French grammars in Dutch. My dutch is not that good.

So I would like to find a school in Gent or Brussels where they teach French in French or in English.

Hello and welcome on our forum,

🤣🤣🤣 In fact, a lot of expats are lazy and/or afraid to learn new languages.

That's why they prefer to ghettorize themselves in their communities...

Learning French can be a great challenge but wonderful challenge...

I'm sure you will find a good school in your region.

I will arrive Brussels around end of the Feb.

My plan is learning French too, I'm studying now by the way (using basic Mobil app though)

The easiest way to learn is to talk with everybody.

I speak several European languages without fully mastering them. And of course I make mistakes and sometimes some people laugh at me. In this case, I simply answer them that they just have to speak my language ...

Thank for your advice, It is indeed a good way to learn a language.

I want learn French not only for daily communication but also for working. So I better get a bit serious with it.
