Phu Quoc... We can

DavisPhu

I come from a small town in rural New Mexico earning my BA from The University of New Mexico and later my MBA from Webster University.  I am certified TEFL/TESOL-5 teaching English as a Second Language.   My first steps in Vietnam were exciting, unfamiliar, and positively hopeful.  I quickly secured employment working in English Training Centers.  Day to day, I walk and explore my neighborhood enjoying new foods and culture.

What's the purpose of your post, DavisPhu?

The system asked me.  I answered the questions.

The system asked you to create a new topic and title it "Phu Quoc... We Can"?  And to make your resume and your daily habits the whole content of the topic?   If your answers are yes to both questions, then it's the first time ever that the system did that to us, since this is a forum for expats, not LinkedIn, and none of us expats has any desire to read a resume or to know about someone's daily habits if those things are not related to expats' issues.

Welcome to the forum.

I'll ask admin to move your post to the "Phu Quoc" forum.

You've posted in the main Vietnam forum and obviously upset the natural order of things...

:D

I'm here on the island too, at Kem Beach.

Cheers!

I thought professional only.  Not sexual.  Not looking for sex.

No need to remove.

And you can ignore people who don't understand what you're doing.

You posted a job ad and you created a profile and then you made your first post in the networking area.

Based on what you've done you will hopefully get some positive feedback that is related to your professional goals.

😎👍

I understood what the OP attempted to do, and I knew that he posted in the Networking forum.  However, what he wrote was neither a job ad nor a request for feedback or even a professional connection.  It's a resume with a beginning and a middle but without an ending.  It missed a target goal.  It's simply off!  Also off the wall.

In Vietnamese language, there's an adage to call things that are haphazardly done, it's "đầu voi đuôi chuột" (an elephant head with a mouse tail).  The OP's post doesn't even have a tail.  It's incomplete, it showed no purpose, and it made the readers scratch their heads in bewilderment.

And that big slogan-type of title definitely doesn't have anything to do with the post aside from the name of his location.
