Entry approval from mom for WHP holder

Post new topic

tnk10

Hello everybody,

I am planning to fly to Singapore as soon as possible, but my request is being rejected.
I read about various stories for entry approval and would like to know how likely it is to get approved during this time now.
I would be thankful if you could share your stories, especially when you are also a holder of the IPA for the Work Holiday Pass or come from Germany as I do..

Thank you!

As you probably know from the news, Singapore is strictly limiting the number of foreigners who can enter the country - and of course gives priority to those working in essential sectors. I do not think WHV holders do belong to these. Thus I believe your chances are low.
Even if you are admitted, you have to serve two weeks quarantine at a dedicated facility and bear the cost for that and associated testing (S$2200).
I think you should wait until the COVID measures are lifted and try again then. Sorry!

Have  you  receive your approval yet?

I am stuck in the same situation: german, work holiday pass  holder and my entry approvals are being rejected.

I am really sad because my whole family lives there as expats and I haven’t seen them for two years :(

Still hoping to receive an approval

hello! were you able to secure an entry approval already? Ever since the system transitioned to using the Safe Travels portal, it would outright say that you cannot choose a specific date because it is not available. My company has been trying to submit an entry request for my wife here in Singapore but for 2 straight weeks, the dates that are being opened up are always "unavailable" regardless if we apply it during 12 midnight, early morning or the afternoon.
