@Fred Frankly speaking the company to the best of my knowledge isn't a scam! It was just that some people start to alerts me on such scamming activities that they have encountered before.
-@contactsyag

If they are real, go to the NZ government site that all legal companies are shown on, and post the link.

My requests all returned zero results for a company of that name.

Also, perhaps you can explain how the company address shows a car park.

A visa scam.

If at ANY point an NZ employer asks you to give them money, or give a third party money, its a scam.

nextgencareerguidance

Hello sir

I got an offer letter for job in vagadax construction limited auckland new zealand so i want to be sure that whether this company is fake or genuine.

Please let me know about this company.

Arran Hunt

@nextgencareerguidance vagadaxconstructionltd.co.nz is a fake site, created in March 2023.

It is a scam.

Fred

I have got an offer as well from the same company. They have sent me a "Memorandum of Contract" which I need to sign and send back to them so that they can process my appointment letter and other formalities like visa etc.
While I have a clear communication from the above massages shared by Fred and other, my confusion is why the company is doing such thing? Don't they have the idea that we will definitely check their identity and authenticity?
2ndly how they will get benefitted from this game? If anyone have any idea and can clarify, I will be thankful.
Arny

You send the money for a visa

They run away with your money

If you send your documents, they sell them on the black market

https://www.expat.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=925264 covers this company two years ago.

Or should I say fake company. NZ companies generally use .co.nz not -nz.com. It also looks like you got the job very quickly and easily, which is unusual. It's been way to fast.

I checked the official government listing for companies (google NZ Companies Office) and that company does not exist. All companies in NZ must be on that list.

So, looks fake to me.

stumpy

For the reasons given by Arran, it is a scam.

shailesh paul

@Schadha1966

Hi

Shailesh here,

I also got the same mail from the Vaquant Construction Ltd. today and before that I also had a telephonic interview where they asked me about basic information not the work related questions. One thing I noticed that the interviewer's speech was  different and he finished the interview in just 2 minutes. Today i got the a memorandum letter where in Travel & Visa section it was clearly written that the employee should bear all the cost of Visa processing fees. Then i came to know that its a fake one because its a emoloyer's responsiblity to bear  all the cost of of immigration. I hope this information will help to others too.

pvsssviswanadham

Dear sir,

i got MOC from Vaquant Construction Limited as Project Manager this company reliable?

Dinesh Dinu21

@Schadha1966

Did you send mail or they sent mail to you .

I have sent mail from my side .

They sent mail & same process they made .

Arran Hunt

It's a scam.

The company is not listed on the NZ companies office register, and it legally needs to be as it includes Limited in its name.

The website should be .co.nz as no NZ companies use -nz.com.

If you google the companies name, you will see multuple posts on expat.com about it being a scam.

stumpy

SCAM!!

Dinesh Dinu21

@jerryjude884

It's fake .

Some one is sending you that you won kerala lottery .

But you have not purchased the lottery.

Same way .

It's a scam

Dinesh Dinu21

@Fred

Next what they asked ?

Don't pay any money .

I also received from same mail id .

salamuddin123

[Post under review]

Fred

One of the ways scammers collect contact emails is from people who are silly enough to post their own on the internet.

That's forums and, far worse, the scammer heaven we know as Facebook.

Fred

@Fred

-@Dinesh Dinu21

Scammers make money from people who are too greedy/dumb/desperate to want to know it's a scam.

Several posters have told the world, but it's always the same next post - is it a scam?

salamuddin1980

@pvsssviswanadham

Hi sir,

I also got Same company contract letter yesterday.
