LRI and Kafala system

Post new topic

cad draftsman

Good day everyone,

i hope all of you are doing well. i need your thoughts on this one.

this just pops up in my head. Given that the new initiative is implemented but the system is not yet operational, is it possible to use the old Kafala procedure for transfer the employees but at the same time the new initiative is applied for people whose contract are almost finish.

please tell me if im wrong, but this might solve the issue of the persons that is been wishing to transfer / take the opportunity to transfer to other employers?

:)

im quite interested on how you make those assumptions.

simple answer is NO...

please enlighten me how did you come up with that response?

yes i have read a lot of this procedures on my research.

the "approval" from the current employer does not match to the LRI issued procedures.

You can not enjoy the new system and it's benefits unless its fully working.
You can get transfer (if allowed by your sponsor) according to the old system and you will get benefits of the old system.

What @Arsal7 said is correct, simple BIG NO.... i'm also in queue for transfer,

all the transfers will be made thru new system, and the transfer systems are under maintenance for the 6 days as per the Qiwa_sa official twitter announcement.

and there are certain transfer requirements to be met, if you company doesn't meet those, there request will be rejected.

check this out... https://qiwa.sa/en/employee-transfer

i advise you to follow @Qiwa_sa official twitter account and related MoL and Jawazat and Absher accounts. you will see these kinds of issues shared and the ministries replying to there queries.

i do appreciate your response...

this valuable information like the qiwa twitter shed some light on this "new law" trend...

a lot of people around me are telling that the LRI does not work.... ok i agree but what i understand is it is just implemented few weeks ago... definitely it would take time for it to be functional 100%.

to be honest, i raised this trend because i want to transfer to other company. its not enough for me to get information based on the news (arabnews, saudi gazette, etc.)

i really hope this system becomes operational by April.

thanks
