Housing near American School Doha

Hello everyone,

My husband moved to Doha last week, we will be joining him in July. my children. 9 and 6 are going to attend American school Doha. We don't know anything about Qatar and we would appreciate if someone could advise us on which will be the best area to stay.; closest to school for my son has motion sickness and cannot stand being long in the car. We can't afford anything more than 12000 riyal per month though. Thank you so much.

Hi Julie. I used to work in Qatar . Actually, I was a School Bus Attendant / Monitor for the American School of Doha. The place that I can suggest that is close to ASD is the Al Waab area. There you can also do your
groceries at the Villagio where Carrefour is.
