USA DOLLAR STORE PRODUCTS IN SANTO DOMINGO?

My mother wants to come to the US from DR just to buy products from the dollar store. She says everything in Santo Domingo is a lot of money. Any one know if there are stores sort of like the dollar store or with dollar store products in Santo Domingo?

planner no she has not...i actually wanted to know this also...so she should check out china town... and calle duarte is that the same as plaza lama in villa duarte?

Plaza Lama is a store. It's a large department store full of lower cost items right up to major appliances.

China town is a good safe option. Some other areas are not considered safe.

Calle - spanish for street. Duarte - the actual street name. You will find this street name in all cities here. He is one of our founders.

Calle. duarte is not a place to go alone or if you don't know the language.
