My intention after visiting in 2020 this marvelous country, is to find in first hand, a job in the tourism industry and apply for a work-visa that would permit me living there at least for a couple years. Could somebody help me with advise of what steps I should follow to apply such a permit and where to find information or job opportunities for late 2021? I am 49 years old and have almost 30 years of experience in hotel-management and tourist promotion through an own vacation home renting business for a region of Spain with a couple hundred of homestays. I also speak 5 languages (spanish, english, german, spanish, french). I appreciate any help in advance. Best regards. Carlos Taibo

Hello, It starts with a valid employment contract from an employer who registered in Sri Lanka then the employer also should apply for entry visa approval. So the first step should be to find an employer who wish to hire you.

Best chance to find an employer is as usually by contacting them in different ways such as sending CV, calling them, just showing up and so on, however here is a list of some hotels in SL https://srilanka.travel-culture.com/hotels-list.shtml and there are many more that you can find via google. All the best!
