Hi, I'm Narmatha.  My husband and I currently live in the UK but are looking to move to Alicante in Oct/Nov this year.  Obviously there have been a lot of changes due to Brexit so wanted to know if anyone knew of any lawyers/professionals who can help facilitate applying for a visa.

We have quite a few questions.  We would both like to keep working.  My husband works for a UK company and I am an IT contractor, and don't know the rules around that.  Can anyone recommend any organisations who could help with obtaining residency?  Many Thanks

Johncar

Hi.

Advice depends on yours and  your husband’s nationality.

EU national, third country etc

Narm

We are both British.

Thank you so much for this!  Really helpful and we will definitely contact her!  Much appreciated!

Hello Narmatha

There are many lawyers/professionals in the UK and Spain who are happy to take your money to fill in forms. Initially everything will go through the Spanish Consulate in London where you are allowed to obtain all the forms yourself and ask for advice.

Janeloveit is right. There are lots out there. A bit different is the Online Gestoria Shop – https://www.spainexpat.com/gestoria/ much more a la carte if you want to do some of the work yourself.
