S pass application in Singapore during covid

Hi all,

I have my offer from one of the US company in Singapore and they are applying for s pass for me.

Whats the average waiting time?

8-12 weeks is what’s mentioned on the MoM website, however, it could take just a few days, or on the flip side more than the above mentioned 8-12 weeks (if there is any additional request for information).

Important facts that may impact the time taken for approval- Depends also on where you have done your education, also if the university is in the drop down list on the MoM application submission website. Then there is the salary threshold, also the 1:3 ratio of expats vs locals, that the company needs to maintain.

If all is well, should be alright.

The pay is around 4000 sgd and i am not sure the quota, but i know the company is quite big with around 9000workers in Singapore.

I am a bit worry about possible rejection under the current covid situation in Singapore as MOM announced to reduce the number of foreigner workers.
