Yes, possible to extend EP validity. My friend's EP validity extended for 1 more month.

My friend's EP was expiring on 10th May 2021. His employer couldn't submit the EP renewal on-time due to some internal delay. However his employer managed to extend the EP validity for 1 more month and submitted EP renewal which got approved also now.

Very, very difficult, as the responsibility to prove your education is yours.
I guess the only chance is if the employer faces serious problems if you stop working there on short notice.

As far as I know, your current employer can help extend the EP (pending educational background verification), if not mistaken it is for 30 days only.

You most certainly need to get the educational background that’s being questioned by MoM, get looked at with a credible agency right away to be able to continue working in SG. How many times can the extension be done, there isn’t much info on the MoM website (which I am sure you must have already checked), so unfortunately this is an unknown and highly tricky, tougher to say the least.

Curious, why wouldn’t you renew early? You can renew up to 6 months before expiration- this is too thin on time, given regulations are stiffened and scrutiny has been intensified.

I wish you luck, but without further delay, get the education verified, it will take time which you don’t have given the Covid situation in India with lockdowns etc (and that is a great justification basis for an extension request).

Please start fast taking long time with covid I think

May I know the processing timeline for this?
My employer did the same for me last week but request is still pending. My card is supposed to expire by May 21st.Any insight/reply would be appreciated. Thanks!!
