Vaccine for covid 19

Hi again.

My daughter and her husband were vaccinated last week; they suffered no side effects.

Once vaccinated, you'll get a "Registratiekaart coronavaccinatie" from the GGD with your name, date of birth and details of the vaccine you were given.  These do not exempt you from any testing when travelling.  Make sure you keep the certificate to show when you go for your second vaccination.

My wife and I and friends we know (all in the agr range 70-85) had no side effects.

In view of the current complexity around international travel It will be interesting to have feedback on this forum on members' experiences.

If it's of any interest, my wife and I are currently living in the UK; all our family have now received both vaccinations and have the new approved updated NHS travel app, which is currently of no use to anybody for travelling.

Side effects; my wife had a sore arm, and I had a chill from the first jab, no side effects for either of us from the 2nd, both of us had the Pfizer vaccination.

My wife and I (both in our last weeks of living in the UK) have had both doses of Astra Zeneca vaccine. I had chills and a fever for a few hours afterwards, although I didn't actually feel too bad in myself. Second jab I had no side effects whatsoever.

My wife had no side effects at all from either jab.

I think it just depends on how your body/immune system deals with it.

We're arriving in NL on 18th June and are having to quarantine for 10 days on arrival. Our advice has been that the vaccination doesn't change this. I'm sure I'll post an update once we've arrived with our experience of traveling (we won't have much else to do for ten days anyway!)
