The Bali Provincial Government (Pemprov) has prepared various tour packages to support the work from Bali program (a program aimed at travellers  who work and live temporarily in Bali during the pandemic). . This tour package is presented so that ministerial ASN or BUMN employees who work in Bali can also vacation to visit various destinations on the Island of the Gods.

"We offer several packages spread throughout Bali, in Jembrana, in Buleleng, Karangasem. We have prepared the concept. But we are not forcing them. So as an option (or) they want to choose where," said the Head of the Tourism Office. Bali Province, Putu Astawa.

Astawa gave an example, if for example they want to see the atmosphere of the Bali Starling, they can take a tour package in Jembrana. This kind of package is presented so that ASN is not only in The Nusa Dua area which is used as a pilot project, but can spread throughout Bali.

Moreover, said Astawa, in addition to The Nusa Dua tourism area, various other locations in Bali have been safe from COVID-19, such as Ubud and Sanur. These three areas have been designated as green zones.

Astawa hopes that the work from Bali program can bring at least 1000 people every month. This is an effort to support the rescue of Bali tourism which has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To note, the work from Bali program is coordinated by the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Kemenko Marves) by involving the ministries below. So that in total there are seven ministries and 10 SOEs that will work from Bali.
