Hi. Is there anywhere that states fundamental rights ?

Have had several issues already and their latest stunt is to

1.  install kitchen light that so bright it lights up my bedroom below like daylight

2. Put outside garden IR light in flower basket on balcony  and leave on all night which lights up my bedroom like moonlight..

I wonder if besides bestburen there is official statement or list. Or should I go to gemeente?

Hi again.

Light pollution rights?  No, never heard of any rules about it/them.  It could well be that somebody there works from home at night and needs the lights on.  Perhaps they're growing "things" on their balcony.

To answer your question, try contacting the Public Information Service (link).  They won't turn the lights off but may know about fundamental rights.

Hope this helps.

The best solution is to go talk to them and tell them you cannot sleep due the bright lights. Ask if they can turn the light in the balcony off at night.

You always can file a complaint to your landlord or if you are the owner  the VVE.
