Moving Luggage

Post new topic

We (my husband, our son and I) are going to move from Germany to Bahrain next month. For about 4 weeks we will get free housing by my husbands employer.
Hopefully during that time we will find a new home. We prefer a furnished villa / appartement. Now, we are wondering whether we have to bring porcelain, cutlery, etc with us.
May someone give us a recommendation? Thank u.

Not 100% sure on the question but, Furnished house I don't think will come with cutlery. Household items such as cutlery & crockery are freely available to buy as they would be in Germany. There's even an Ikea. Although they may be somewhat more expensive.

Most of the furnished apartments comes with everything, mine comes with cutlery but didnt use them, and small appliances. But if the transport cost would be more than buying those items here, might not be worth it. I did the same, brought few of my things from Dubai since road transport cost is not much.
