What is the EP approval timeline during June 2021, please

Shekhz

Sunrise9nature: There is nothing like a ‘processing time’ for a given month. MoM website calls out 8 weeks at a minimum, we have forum members who have received approvals within a week, within 2 as well, some have been stuck for 8-10 weeks too.

Based on inputs, from forum members, average time is 5.2 weeks.

Depends how complicated or clean your application is.

Hello Everyone. I'm planning to start my Singapore job hunt this September. Target is a biopharmaceutical manufacturing position. Could you help me by explaining the usual flow from getting hired by the company to first day of work (i. e. Pass application, health assessment?, quarantine procedure)?

Shekhz

You find a relevant job, apply, interview for the role, if your prospective employer finds your skills better and more apt for the said job, your get the offer from them (provided they have the quota and meet the criterion for hiring expats).

Suitable work permit/ pass is applied by the employer, once MoM approves it, you get the IPA aka In Principle Approval for you to fly in to SG and then you secure your work permit card. Yes, you would need to serve the 14 days quarantine if travelers are accepted from the country of origin into SG (barring high risk countries, refer to ICA website). For which, you would need to secure approvals before you fly in, from the safe travel website.

… then you join the company and serve your employer.

Thank you Shekhz.
