New to Limassol

Hi Becky; you've picked an interesting time with the power-cuts!

You don't say what age group you're in; for older people there are a couple of groups you might join - the UKCA is a club for UK ex-pats - if you search for UKCA limassol, you'll find them.

The other is the C3A - a Cypriot version of the U3A; c3acyprus.org/ligrps.html is the website - they have a range of activities - I'm in the photography and geology groups, my wife's in the gardening and geology group.

Well..hello Becky..first of all and regarding life in Limassol..u should to know that its second big city in Cyprus and the one which have most of Brokers around world..i am talking about Brokers which provide service of trading in forex market..so life there a little expensive and cost..especially in apartments rent there..regarding that u will be alone there i feel u becase i have put in such situation before..but there is alot of things u can do to pass such step..in alot of places..like beatchs for example..caffees..general and public areas where there is people..i am going to be there in Cyprus as well..but by 1 September..so there is still around 1 month left to be there..same thing i was think about exactily like u that i will be alone..but who knows what will happened..in next hours alot of things changes..any also i hope i meet u there it will be good chance i think..at least i find someone share the time with me and live with me in the apartment instead i feel bored..but unfortunately my flight will be to Larance..not away from Limassol by the way if also u didnt like ur work there i can provide help about that..i am also trader in forex market and know most of brokers there..hope u a good luck..
