Dear Expat forum members

I (30 , female) would like to ask if anyone has any information regarding the Human Papillovirus - HPV vaccination situation in Porto. In Europe, this is normally administered until the age of around 14-16, but for some reason, I only received one dosage as a child. I would like to find out where I need to go to be able to have the vaccination (Gardasil) administered.
-> Does this work via a gynaecologist, or do I need to see a general practitioner, or are there even dedicated vaccination centres?
-> Also, does anyone have information regarding the cost as I am not yet insured in Portugal.

Please note that I am not yet living in Porto, but taking a trip there to get to know the place. Wanting to get it in Portugal as it will make things easier as the vaccination is a recurring thing (need 2-3 doses).

Thank you for your kind help and have a great day!

The HPV vaccine is available free of charge in the National Health System for girls up to 14 years old. This limit is extended until the age of 26 if they have other health issues, such as cancer, AIDS or organ transplantation.

At age 30, you can only get that vaccine in the private Health Care system. But it seems to me that, even in these cases, you have to be registered in the Portuguese national health service and the vaccine will have to be prescribed by a gynaecologist. You can choose between Cervarix and Gardasil 9. It should also be like this in Germany ?...

Eg. You can choose a clinic and a gynaecologist in one of these private health groups:
