Hi all. We have just finished our tour of the continent and thanks to all the guides above in this forum, we managed to get our vehicle imported and registered successfully with MT Plates. Now we are ready to sell our vehicle if anyone is interested but without all the hassle as it will be a simple title transfer. PM use should you be interested.

I have a very nice Skoda Superb Kombi 4x4 L&K edition that will be available for sale in late November.  It is a very clean and well maintained vehicle.  It is a 2019 model, but it is registered in Andorra as a 2018.  Andorra goes by when the vehicle was built, not the model year.  It is registered in Andorra.  As of today, it has just 79, 812 miles on the odometer.  It has been very well maintained.  I am asking just €17,000.  Please message me if you are interested.  Photos available on request. Thank you.

Hello Flyer7717,

Kindly note that advertising is not allowed on the forum, as there is a dedicated section for such offers.

I encourage you to post your ad in the Andorra classified ads section and do not forget to include pictures of the vehicle for sale.

All the best,

Cheryl

Importing and registering a vehicle can vary depending on the country, state, or region. The process involves several key steps, including checking import regulations, ensuring the vehicle is compliant, hiring a customs broker, purchasing shipping and transportation, paying import duties and taxes, obtaining import approval, and receiving the vehicle at port.

Once the vehicle is imported, it must be registered with the relevant authorities. This includes gathering required documents such as proof of ownership, customs clearance, proof of compliance, proof of insurance, identification, and vehicle inspection reports. Vehicle inspections are mandatory in some regions, and registration fees are typically based on the vehicle's type, age, and value.

After submitting the necessary documents and paying fees, you will receive a vehicle registration certificate and license plates. Some countries may require online registration, while others may require physical office visits. Obtaining license plates may take some time, and you may need to wait for delivery or be given temporary plates.

To import and register a vehicle, follow these steps:

1. Research import regulations: Check your country's rules for eligibility, age restrictions, and local road regulations.

2. Obtain required documents: Original Purchase Invoice, Bill of Lading, Vehicle Title/Registration Certificate, Customs Documents, and Compliance Certificate.

3. Pay import duties and taxes: Calculate import taxes based on the vehicle's value, age, and engine size.

4. Clear customs: Submit necessary documents to the customs authority.

5. Pass vehicle inspections: Pass safety and emissions testing and issue a Roadworthiness Certificate.

6. Register the vehicle: Visit the local DMV, provide necessary documents, pay fees, and receive new license plates.

7. Ensure the vehicle is fully insured under your country's legal requirements.

Work with a licensed import agent or customs broker for complex cases, double-check paperwork, and research country-specific processes for compliance.
