I love sampling wine but unfortunately haven't done much of that as I am new here and haven't made friends yet. Would like to form a small circle of friends whom we can have informal tastings with from time to time . Basically, each person is meant to bring a bottle of wine as per the chosen theme and then we can get to compare taste notes and pairings etc. If this is something of interest or if anyone has links to an already existing Wine Tasting Club, please let me know.

@lejekan Hi! I love this idea! I'm from California in the middle of wine country and I loooooooove great wine. Also I just moved here a few months ago so I'd love to meet some nice people. PLEASE keep me posted when you'd like to do this and if you'd like me to help organize or whatever, just let me know. I'd love to be a part. How about a sunset wine tasting on the beach....?

Where abouts were you thinking of doing the tasting?

I'm not island based.. should be over another times later this year.

In general I'm Flick en Flack based when on the island

@jeff_mrblue This is perfect! I think a sunset wine tasting on the beach would be a wonderful idea. Yes, I would appreciate all the help in planning/organizing this. We could plan for the last weekend of April or first weekend of May.
