Marrying debt.
Gregory, the host of youtube's The Optimized Man channel,
was married once .. and now warns young men not to
sign a marriage contract.
There's a long list of things men need to do if they are
to keep a woman happy, he says, "and as soon as you don't
do one of those things, in her mind she's rationalized and
justified in divorcing you, 'cause she knows that the system
is stacked in her favor.
"That's why you men can never sign the marriage contract.
"I know so many men who pay off their woman's debt
and then she leaves them... and she's Scot free, plus she's
gonna get 50 percent of his assets, the child support...
"So guys, it's a racket. Marriage is a racket. Even if
she's beautiful, her looks are gonna deteriorate."
Gregory continues....
"Most women have debt. So when you sign that contract,
when you move in with her, you're going to be
incurring that debt even if it's not in your name....
"[W]omen almost always benefit from the marriage act...
Any woman who is marrying in her 30's, in her 40's
because of hypergamy (women's strong tendency to
marry higher-income men), she knows she's gonna got
an economic windfall" when she decides to terminate
the marriage.

Leo in unfamiliar dating territory.
Superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio's string of
dating no one over 25 has ended.
DiCaprio, 47, was spotted by celebrity media
last night at an A-list Hallowe'en party in
Brooklyn, NY, with SI swimsuit model
Gigi Hadid, his reported love interest of
recent months.
Gigi, 27, is not only two years older than
Leo's previous flings, she gave birth at 25
and is Leo's first baby mama. The father
of the child is named Zayn, Gigi's ex.
The reports say Leo was masked for the
Hallowe'en party at the Brooklyn Navy Yards
except when he was drinking.
Significant to this thread (which I have gone through sampling this and that posting) is that the term "Bachelor" has mostly positive connotations. That is, either it is a young man who is unmarried but would be a good 'catch' or a slightly older man who might be classed as a "confirmed bachelor".
The equivalent term for an unmarried woman is "Spinster".
Reading from Wikipedia we see that....
"Spinster" is a term referring to an unmarried woman who is older than what is perceived as the prime age range during which women usually marry. It can also indicate that a woman is considered unlikely to ever marry. The term originally denoted a woman whose occupation was to spin. A synonymous term is old maid. The closest equivalent term for males is "bachelor" or "confirmed bachelor", but this generally does not carry the same connotations in reference to age and perceived desirability in marriage.
Indeed in Japan it is said that a woman who has attained an age above the normal marrying age is termed a "Christmas Cake", i.e. something that still looks good but is likely to be less digestible.

I think you'll find that "Leo's first baby mama" would be the biological mother of Leo's first child, rather than the first woman who has already had another man's baby prior to dating dear Leo. :-)

Verbatim...
If you give a man The Silent Treatment
when you're fighting , all you're doing is
giving him more time for gaming, football,
cars and opportunities to spend more
time taking selfies with fish.
You think you're giving him more time
to cool down and come to you,

No one accepted their marriage proposal(s)?
To paraphrase/misquote the great bard,
"The ladyless men doth protest too much, methinks."
@cccmedia Silent treatment is abuse in relationship, typically used by narcissists, overt or covert.
@El_Jost It is probably done by unaware mental choice. I have grown up in disordered family where mother narcissist will always lash out, scream, drama queen. For unaware me - family was trouble, drama, pain. I remember when I went to visit my grandfather in Germany, I was 19 years old, he asked "do you have plans to get married soon"? I was mildly said - shocked. He was good guy, empath, appreciated family, and btw getting married early with good partner is good thing. All best girls marry very early 19-22 , rests AKA "christmas cakes" stay forever on market for good reason (mental disorders, seeking somebody who probably exists only in Disney Cartoons)

-- A. Gregory Luna, ¨The Lonesome
Insufferable Drudgery of a Married Man¨
on YouTube channel The Optimized Man.
Men's coach Luna devotes
a portion of The Optimized Man
to explaining how a woman's
expectations lead to a trajectory
that turns a marriage into
a train wreck.
When a woman's failed and
excessive expectations mix
with a woman's emotional
nature, a marriage can quickly
go on the rocks, he says.
A Barbie-and-Ken fantasy
gives way to the day-to-day
realities of married life.
¨When disappointment kicks in,
disillusionment kicks in.
When disillusionment kicks in,
then the 'I deserve to be happy'
kicks in. When that kicks in,
get ready for the divorce...
Because at that point, that's when
the disillusionment box opens
and that can justify every action
she does. 'I deserve to have
an affair.' 'Oh, you know he
wasn't that nice to me.
He's narcissistic, abusive.'
'I deserve to take half his money'.¨
-- From YouTube's channel
The Optimized Man ..
Reasons why women
train wreck marriages
The financial drains of divorce.
Since women in Western-style countries
are usually the initiators of divorce as
well as the court-designated custodians
of the children, bachelors considering
making a proposal of marriage should
make themselves aware of the realities
of family court in their jurisdiction.
Richard Cooper, author of The Unplugged
Alpha, notes that post-divorce, there are
three types of financial drain that
a man typically faces under potential
penalty of the law...
The first of these drains is alimony,
sometimes called maintenance, if he
was the primary breadwinner and the
wife stayed at home, often with
the children. Courts sometimes award
alimony even when the couple is
childless and the wife was not working.
¨Either way, you are responsible to
upkeep her standard of living
after the marriage ends. The monthly
cost, and duration of the payments,
depend on where you live and how
long you were married.
¨In some places, California for example,
if you are married for 10 years or more,
then it's lifelong alimony.¨
-- Richard Cooper et al,
¨The Unplugged Alpha¨
The realities of child support payments.
The second of the factors that drain the
divorced man's resources are
child support payments, monthly payments
to support the cost of his children's
upbringing.
Writes Richard Cooper, ¨Contrary to
popular belief, child support is not based
on what the children actually need
to survive. Rather, it's based on
state-issued tables.¨
He gives an example of a man who
estimated the actual cost of food,
clothing and other expenses for
his child post-divorce at 500 USD
per month on average.
¨The state-issued child support tables,
however, required him to make a legally
enforceable payment of $4,367
every month. Child support, for the
most part, goes to the mother, not
the kids.¨
Source... The Unplugged Alpha
Does a pre-nup enable a man to
protect his assets post-divorce?
The last of the financial drains
for the divorced man as explained
by Richard Cooper relates to
the division of marital assets.
In many cases, the marital assets
are aggregated in a figurative pile
and split 50-50 between the
divorcing couple.
Many grooms attempt to protect their
assets, especially those obtained
prior to the marriage, through the
filing of a pre-nuptial agreement
that should limit the proceeds the
divorced wife may later claim.
However, cautions Richard Cooper,
¨if circumstances changed
during the period when you were
married, or a considerable amount
of time has passed since the pre-nup
was signed, then a judge will
most likely throw out your pre-nup
and it won't be worth the paper
on which it was written....
¨Divorce and not career or
entrepreneurship is, statistically,
the number-one way women
acquire their wealth today.¨

is for you to be a feminist
you have to adopt a victim mindset.

And who's the oppressor? It's always
the guy. That's why you hear about

about women making less money

But if that was true, then corporations

How very toxic male
However, much as Cooper appears to be toxic (That would be a nice title for a crappy pop song), he's also right.
That feminist crap goes against nature and nature tends to bite back when you take it on.
Whatever works for both sides in a relationship is right for that couple, and that's never a daft ideology that ties people down to patterns of expected behaviour.

Poster 'But nutty' doesn't perceive the masculine,
confrontational attitude contained in Lina's

Most such men prefer a relationship with someone
who is softer in nature than what is expressed
in Lina's references to 'bold games' and
'I stand for myself' and the gratuitous
'don't even greet me'. This is the off-putting
speech characteristic of a feminist who would
dominate any man-woman relationship.
This is especially relevant for women

What you stating is controversion to each other, isnt it?
- does not wNt woman to take my 50% wealth but woman also can not stand on her own foot. Your woman is a dead body?
- you want woman that is loyal but your woman can not NOT greet any one else. She trying to preserve but you would not allow that.
- How do you know someone is Softer in nature or not from what she stating on the dating view page? In my own opinion, raise a kid need soft side
i am not a man. True. I read and interested in this post cuz i also have the same believe: did not believe in marriages.
all you all saying are also what i believe, just change the man with woman, vice versa.
your disacusion bring me so many insight:
- being grateful with what you have. What you have now probably a dream for some others
- marraige is not a way out. It just a journey. Bring someone else into your life is just another episode of your life
- as simple as be together with aomeone, you can leave him or he leave you one day, prepare for the rainy season.
and the last, i am sure my input here did not shift any one idea at all. So i ask what i curios about. Thank you for the answers .

You can't really know, although the masculine cues
I discussed relative to Lina's commentary
seem indicative.
If the woman is a covert narcissist, she may
hide her nature for months in a series
of love-bombing episodes that mask an
underlying craving for control over a man.
If the man cuts this series short by putting a
ring on her finger and signing the
marriage contract, the hidden nature is revealed
and the man probably will regret
the marital decision right through the
divorce meat-grinder that family court has
become in any Western nation.

and a gradual slide into domestic
subservience.
