Brown Outs In Dumaguete

I live in Pasig City , , , , In five years I've never experienced a brownout. About twice a year we will lose power for about a second, lights flicker and computer reboots.

Once we were notified in advance that our street will be experienced the power being turned off for a six hour period on our street for line work, they gave notice of the expected start and finish time.

Since our air conditioning runs 24/7 in our bedroom we went to the mall for lunch and a movie.

There's so many brownouts here in the Philippines its actually ridiculous that they do that. Some have lasted for a full 24 hours or more. Each year they seem to last anywhere from 4 hour to 8 hours I've been told. I've experienced brownouts around 6 times in the last year.

Thank your lucky stars you don’t live in Dumaguete. There they get 6 in one week.

That's just outrageous 6 in one week? I'm lucky then I thought it was due to some COVID issues but Filipinos have told me it is common here for brownouts. They really need to fix their power system.
