Pressure cookers, the kind you set on the stove, Brandsmart sells these for under $20, or check thrift shops. Food blenders.

Clothes for kids you can fine in new condition at Goodwill if you know the sizes. The best way to get to La Romana is Caribe Tours and there are two money exchanges at their bus terminal, the best rates you will find. No one has ever bothered to check any bags of mine.
