Driving License in Qatar

Hi Does anyone knows how to get a driving license? Do I have to make an appointment first through Metrash or just go to a school? I have a US driving license would it be helpful at any point?

@fmarquezhks2020 with American license you are out of luck, European can be used to get the local one without testing. So you will need to pass both written and driving ones, good luck
