Retirement Visa Application Questions

I wish to apply for a retirement visa.  The checklist states that I must provide a certified bank statement indicating that I have sufficient funds.  What does “certified” mean?  Do I get a bank statement stamped and signed by the bank? Or is just a bank copy of a recent statement sufficient?

My second question is regarding the dependants application.  It asks for a completed “UID” but it does not state what “UID” means?  Can anybody help please?

Many thanks for any help.

@T?Wey

I had my bank stamp the statement and they seem to have accepted it, however, I didn't try without the stamp.

UID - This stands for unique identification card. My understanding is that you get this about 5 days after you permit. I have my appointment tomorrow so I may know more then.
