I love to read and hoping if anyone knows if there is a good
library in Amman that I can borrow the books

That is a very good question, and to be honest, out of my five years of living in Jordan, I have NEVER seen a public library, no where in Amman or likewise. There are book stores, but libraries---hmm that I have never heard of in Jordan.

my friends and i are self-confessed bookworms, we've been around amman looking for the best bookstore that has a wide selection of non-fiction books. unfortunately, we've been unsuccessful. we have then resorted to downloading e-books, instead. i guess we were used to seeing bookstores everywhere back in the Philippines.

in Amman many where u can borrow book , or buy it...

1- Abduhamid Shouman library ...
n Jabal Amman , between 1st and 2nd circle , oboist Iraqi embassy .
2- Amman public library : in downtown , next Roman theater .

TO buy:
1- n Ranbow street many books stores  , like Sharben , books at cafe , good book store , and in British counsel .
