Full time employment without anmeldung

I am moving to Berlin this summer to start the full time employment. I may not be able to find accommodation for some time. That means will not have a registered address in the beginning. Will it be possible to start working while I am not registered? If so, how this can be handled on the employer's side? e.g. I will need to sign up for insurance and get social insurance number.

It is impossible to complete the formalities needed to start work without a registered address.
But since you probably won't sleep under a bridge, why don't you take that address for the registration - friend's places, hotels and short-term apartments are o.k. (only the owners might be reluctant to fill the required form - ask before you book something!).

One should register where they are staying, even a temporary place like a hotel. It does not have to be a long term place. The important thing is that one then changes the address as soon as one has a new one, whether it is long term or another temporary one.

It is not possible to register in a hotel as far as I know. It may not be possible to register in some cases of sublets. The problem is it may take some time before I find a place where I could register.

Wrong.
You are required to register anywhere you stay longer than a week (or two? I forgot ...).
I myself registered at a hotel for a month once when I moved back to Germany.
In theory, the landlord (incl. friend, hotel, etc.) is required to fill the form for registration - but if they don't, you can only sue them to do it - which is impractical and takes forever. Therefore you better ask beforehand and book only a place that will fill the form.
