@Lucy1022 wait so if I go to Dominican Republic with $5000 US dollars and convert it , can I pay my rent with Dominican Republic money?
Yes, I found rent is alot more than I expected as well. I posted this before but having security where you live, is very important to me, so that they have rules, for example, they cant party and play music as loud as they want all night long and you cant sleep even with the best earplugs and windows shut. Loud music all day and night is very possible in many places! Another consideration is to get an apartment and share it with someone such as yourself. Just an idea but obviously you want to be very careful. You can post an advertisement in the classified section.
