Position Overview:

Location: Bali (remote work with the opportunity for international travel)

Function: This is the first finance role in Bali, with the potential for more finance functions to follow in a phased approach.

Primary Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations for the UK & Europe and International Finance teams.

Consolidating monthly accounts for regions such as UK/EUR, APAC, MEA, and Americas, including creditor and debtor figures, cash-flow, and producing monthly Group Management Accounts and annual Group Statutory Accounts.

Ensuring timely group billing (by Calendar Day 5).

Managing compliance with monthly and annual closing and audit timetables.

Acting as a central point of contact for global finance personnel and escalating issues as necessary.

Supporting the group budgeting process and reporting on the actual vs. planned performance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Core Competencies:

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ability to integrate into a new team.

Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.

A flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Work Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with experience in management accounts.

Audit experience is a plus, with familiarity in year-end consolidation and working with auditors.

Experience with statutory reporting for international companies and managing consolidation of annual accounts.

Ability to handle complex financial data across multiple regions.

Education:

Graduate-level education with a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA or CIMA).
