Ex British army mechanical engineering manager
I am a fully qualified electrical and mechanical engineer with 21 years of employment with 'hands-on' experience within the British Army. For the past 21 years I have gained exponential experience and knowledge on multimillion-GBP military equipment, ranging from all variants of Land Rover, all HGV MAN truck variants, including all variants of armoured Mastiff vehicles, SA80A3 rifle, other hand held arms, robotic-mechanical devices, plus much more. Vehicle knowledge is not my limit, I have further gained experience and honed repair techniques with regards to rapid-response and battlefield repair, making my skills highly sought-after for those that require it, I was trained to 'provide success where success was needed' and I have always delivered. I have progressed into a managerial role and gained recognition for the western engineering body with the entitlement of EngTechMIMechE with a level 4 diploma of managerial and leadership qualifications. I have gained the ability to scrutineer work processes intricately and point out areas of improvement if by means of team-training, which I can also provide. Set aside this I have always been a key-player regarding first aid training, ensuring first aid kits are kept 'in date', as well as checking PPE equipment is within acceptable range. Ensuring all safety signs are clear and precise as well as constantly training the younger generation of engineers below me and passing on my knowledge. I have a zero tolerance for sub-par performance and I will not compromise. Offer me fulltime employment and I will be an absolute hard asset to your company.
