Description

We are seeking a ‘Part Time Storekeeper' to join our Purchasing and Stores Department. The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Receive, inspect and store all goods received.

- Verify and check that all goods delivered are in accordance with purchase orders and meet the specifications with regards to quality, quantity, price, and HACCP requirements.

- Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.

- Maintain a clean, organized stockroom to ensure easy access and minimize damage or loss.

- Ensure that the receiving bay is kept clean and organised as per hotel standards.

- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations and quality control as established in the Employees' Handbook, the Hotel's policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health & Safety and HACCP requirements.

The ideal candidate must be a teamplayer and possess the ability to work on own initiative in a fast-pacing environment. Being in possession of a driver licence and/or speaking Maltese is considered an asset.
