Can i find a job as a doctor in Malta

Hi everybody i m very glad to find this forum.I hope you will share your experience with me.I am infectious diseases specialist graduated last year in Azerbaijan.But i live and work 3 years in North Cyprus.We ( husband and 3 years daughter )are planning to move to Malta My question is can i find a job as a doctor in Malta ?Wt are  the requests to work as a doctor in Malta?

North Cyprus is a colony of Turkey and not part of the EU. As a TCN in Malta, you would need a work permit.  If you want to relocate your chances are much better in Albania.

Please be aware that you will need to be fluent in the Maltese language too.


" For the attainment of a licence to practice in Malta the profession of medical practitioner, proficiency in the Maltese and English languages is required, save in exceptional circumstances.  (An exceptional circumstance would for example be the case of a foreign medical practitioner accompanying a foreign head of state visiting Malta)."
