Manila area is high. smaller towns under 500,000 to 250,000 people. Near the sea. With a good road and rail if posable. Learn to shop the markets eat the local food, bargan hunt for cloths. That can be fun. Learn the local prices. Keep your ... Read More

A visa now last 2 years before you have to leave if you keep getting a extention every 2 months. You get a visitors card for ID. so you need not carry your passport. Use the express lane. Here it takes 30 min. to 2 hours to do. Depending on how ... Read More

Were I live it is safe. Very little crime. Manila is a different story. Most smaller towns are very safe but you do without many things from the biger citys. Small market and all. Philippinios are easy to get along with. Just don't break the ... Read More

Cebu would be cheaper. But it is getting expensive there as well. Unless you can set up outside of town propper. I would say 10%. Small towns might save 50% but reliable service and internet? Then travel to a bigger town for much. As most point ... Read More
