Bargaining the price by yandr
So, how negotiable are rental prices in Malta? My initial estimate is around 600 euros, but would I be able to take it down a notch? I am interested in areas around Valletta.
Most of the rents you'll see online are outdated. Definitely negotiable but only if overpriced. Most good rentals in those areas get rented out very quickly. Read More

I have never had problems getting replies from frank salt, dhalia, gozo prime, look gozo, etc... prior to visiting. This is specifically for Gozo - Malta might be different. Ray: what "property site for Gozo" do you have in mind? Read More

High prices of rents in Malta by expat1973
Hi folks! There is one topic which bothers me lately in Malta, as probably most of expats here. Rent prices have gone up this year like crazy! Now I work also with (not only) real estates in Malta, so I am in position to help with this, but it is ...
It's logical, really. I mean, the rents in most of Europe are much higher.Except they're not. A high end 2 bed apartment is rarely > 1000/month in other cities whereas it seems to be the norm now in Malta (areas with easy commute to ... Read More

A lot of professionals live in shared apartments these days. It used to be that you could get a decent flat in Malta for the price of a small room in London (about 600-700/month). Not any more. Read More
Why did you move to Malta? by felinefine81
I'm interested to know what led to people moving to Malta. Interested from the perspective of what works best! Did you: a) Visit Malta several/many times, fall in love with it and then move here? If so are you retired or working? or b) Were ...
