Regarding naturalization for people with a Brazilian Child by brandwach

As a parent of a Brazilian child, I know I am entitled to citizenship after one year of residency. But, how much of that time must I been in Brazil? Would 3mo's do it, or 6 mo's or would I have to be in Brazil the whole year? Thanks
