There is currently no English-medium secondary or even primary schools on the island, there are only a handful of English-medium kindergartens/nursery schools. And I'm not aware of any English-medium programmes at the university either. Read More

My name is Anthonia Austine, my husband is currently living in Mauritius, but planning to move to reunion island, what are the requirements needed for him to move over?

You will need to do more research, but as a US citizen and depsite the Belgium residency permit, I suspect that she may need to get a specific student visa for her time in Reunion (due to Reunion not being part of the Schengen area). Read More

I would suggest using the "few years" you mention to brush up your French and make it more fluent. It won't be easy to get a job here without speaking fluent French, although of couse you could work remotely. Read More

Unfortunately since Brexit, and bearing in mind that Reunion is not part of the Schengen area, you are now limited to (I think) a stay of only 3 months after arrival.Since Brexit British passports are now stamped with entry (and exit) dates. Read More

Living in Reunion Island by GOrwell

I have a British passport. Now that the UK has left the EU, would I have to leave Reunion Island after 90 days, or can I extend my visa and possibly get a permanent residence.

champacs

As far as I'm aware, if you don't have a carte de séjour (residence permit) you will only be allowed to stay in Reunion for 90 days before having to leave Read More
