I retired for the 2nd time in 2008 and soon found that I was in deep financial trouble. After 1 1/2 years of frugal living, I decided that I needed to move somewhere more affordable. After eliminating Mexico, which was my first choice, I set my sights on Thailand. Thinking that I have a good buddy who lives there, I e-mailed him, and found that he had moved the year before to Cambodia. He told me how great it was, the low cost of living (which was exactly what I wanted to hear)and all the lovely women there who love Americans. To make a long story short, I made the plunge this September, arriving in Sihanoukville in mid-season - rainy season. This is an amazing experience for me, new things every day.
