Another side note: as a holder of a titre de sejour, I have the right to work here in France. You do not have this right on a tourist visa and that would be a showstopper right off the bat. There might be ways of finding a job and getting paid ... Read More

French Courses - How do government language programs work? by PeterTurn31

I am starting my life in Lyon with my French wife. Does anyone know what the Government language programs are for french and how they work? Do they just pay for it and you go to a place of your choice? Thank you any help would be great. -Peter

Thanks for the information! I would say I have an "intermediate" level and improving but there's still difficulties with unexpected questions, limited vocabulary, and with oral comprehension. I will definitely look into it! Ryan Read More
