Importing a vehicle by Jan1janjack

As a greek resident what is the process of importing a camper van. i have heard mixed reports anout ease and difficulty of this process and costs involved. I’m an Irish citizen but now living in Greece. any advice would be apreciated.

Yes, it does, but you will not be able to apply jointly unless you have been joined by a Civil Partnership. You would need to apply individually with an income of €3500 pm each. Read More

@bevc60 Isn't it just! I believe money in the bank counts too, so if you're short on the monthly income, but can show you have enough savings to draw on to cover the difference over the 3 years then that might also work. Read More

As I understand it, a penalty of €3000 euro is payable on a Euro 4 vehicle, and €1000 for Euro 5. Anything older will not be accepted. Has that changed? Read More
