tourist visa between calendar years? by Bogong

I've just arrived (August 2013) and am considering renewing my visa into the next year. Has anyone done this? Beyond the 150 day limit? What traps await me? Any advice from those who have accomplished this?

e_moodie

I arrived in Dec 2011 and was able to stay on a tourist visa for the first 150 days in 2012. You should not have any concerns extending you visa for the full 150 days this year or for a full 150 period next year. Read More

Cost Of Food In Kathmandu by e_moodie

I actually find the stores with the shutters and signs only in Nepali do the best momos. So I eat there at least once a week. The best thing to do is to see if they are busy. That way, they are more likely to be using fresh ingredients. You will ... Read More

Student and marriage visas are actually the easiest to get and the cheapest since you don't have to show any initial investment. I could refer my lawyer to you, but I only refer people to him that I have actually met and that I'm friends with. I ... Read More

To get a business visa, you now need to show an investment of $50,000. You do not need to have a Nepali business partner. I own 2 businesses and neither have a Nepali owner. If you have a good immigration lawyer, you won't have to pay any corruption ... Read More
