Hello all! I'm a single American female moving to Ruwais to teach in August. I noticed that there isn't too much about the city on here--anyone have any information? Any insight about living there helps! Cheers, Alex

Neither the abaya nor the head scarf are not compulsory. In Ruwais people wear whatever they want so long as it is not tight fitting. This advise is for your everyday clothing...if you are working they may have different rules. Read More
